It’s a leasehold plot right on the beach a few kms north of Sanur. 

The plot is 22 are (1 are = 100sqm), we bought it in 2014 with a 25yr lease which is obviously ticking down. The lease has the right to extend for another 20 yrs (and  again) but the price has to be agreed with the freeholder. We had a guy go see the freeholder a while back and they were quite happy to extend the lease so that it would total 30yrs. They wanted IDR 5m per are per year. This is cheap and they would like the money so there’s a deal to be done.

We had an architect draw up plans to build a big house and 4 smaller ones, I’m sure that project could be revived if needed. And there's and a new Mayo Clinic nearby too
